When Jesus asked Peter: “Do you love me?” Peter answered, “Yes.” Jesus’ first response was “Feed My Lambs.” He said this before He said to “Feed my sheep” and “Tend my sheep.” The Lord asked Peter to feed the children first, before the adults. The order He mentioned this in was no coincidence. Moreover, the Lord was not talking about physical “food.” He was referring to spiritual food, He meant the Bible, which is the Word of God. His directive was to make teaching children the Bible a priority. In today’s society we have this backwards and all too often our children are the last group that we think of taking care of, even in the Body of Christ.
At the heart of Feed My Lambs is a desire to put children first and teach them about the Bible. We want to help them develop their spiritual gifts and a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition, we want to help every child discover a life with Christ and then make it a meaningful experience in daily life. Our aim is to reach this young generation with sound Biblical teaching in a fun and contemporary format.
